Babies don’t like to be messed with and usually hate being naked, mostly because they get cold easier than adults would. All a newborn baby wants is to be warm, cozy and have a full tummy. it’s these facts that form the basis of my newborn photography sessions. In my photography you’ll notice that the baby always starts fully swaddled and I do light posing and minimal props. I love to keep baby in one position and maximize as many angels before disturbing them and moving them into a new pose. It’s hugely different from the norm in newborn photography but I prefer a more natural approach to my newborn photography and creating timeless moments of your baby in a way you will want to remember them in years to come, just as they are because they are perfect without a bunch of distracting props and overly posed.
