Fort Worth One Year Cake Smash

I’ve photographed this sweet little girl before, and she was so happy during her one year photo session! Mom brought in her own outfits, which you are always welcome to do, but I do have dozens of outfits available to borrow for your little ones photoshoot. We finished off her cake smash with a bubble bath!

4 week old older newborn Fort Worth Photographer

This sleeping beauty was a month old when she came to visit me. It’s always unfortunate when I see or hear about other photographers not taking newborns after 14 days old. Yes, newborns are more sleepy in the first 2 weeks, but this baby definitely proved that wrong! She slept the entire time and was a dream to photograph. She only woke up when the session was over, which is when I like to get photos of baby doing their own thing and being them. Plus, look at that sweet dimple on her chin! I have photographed several older newborns and never turn away a family looking for photos of their baby because they didn’t schedule an appointment when they were pregnant or within the first couple of days after their new bundle arrived. Don’t let the idea of newborns need to be photographed before a certain age, because I would gladly take all the babies!

DFW Outdoor photography locations

I love going to locations that have different textures and open spaces to run around and play. I have a couple of my favorite locations listed below, maybe they can help you choose where you would like your next photo session at.

Cedar Hill State Park

This park has so many great spots to photograph all within a short distance of each other. It does cost $7 per adult to get in, but believe me it is worth it. Below are some example photos I’ve taken to show you just how many great spots there are.

Tandy Hills Natural Area

Here is another great place because it is central to make locations, pretty close to the middle if you’re going from Arlington, Keller or Weatherford. Parking gets a little limited on the weekends because it’s only street parking, and the park is free so it tends to fill up with photographers, but it has a view of the city and lots if grassy and open space.
