I love how well received my simple style of cake smash is!
I do things slightly differently and although that was a risk, going against the norm always is, I’m so incredibly happy that there are so many other people who like this timeless style too.
You see cake smashes are normally themed, or very bright and colorful.
Which is great for some people, but it just didn’t work for me.
I wanted the baby to be the focus and all of the other excitement I found distracted me.
So in my cake smash photos I keep things super simple. Lets keep the focus on your baby and their milestone!
Every session is held at my home photography studio in White Settlement.
I keep everything very neutral and timeless.
From the room which is all white, to the clothing which I find from all around the world, the cake which is a solid white frosted cake, right down to the toys which are all natural wood and look beautiful in images.
We let your little one have the best time, playing with whatever toys they like, then we bring in the cake and if you choose, finish it all with a little splash in the mini bath tub.
I also don’t pose, I’d rather capture your baby as they are, how they move, everything about them.
The result is photos of your little one with genuine smiles and true laughs.
Photos that capture every detail of them and a memory of the fun way you celebrated their 1st birthday.
